Antler Tip Skinner

This MAD made skinner is all finished up and looking for its forever home. It was hand forged from 80crv2 high carbon steel and was given a forced patina to darken the steel and add a bit of rust resistance. The steel features forged texture on the ricasso and flats in contrast with machined bevels. I used an antler tip from a shed found in Nebraska for the handle along with a turquoise trustone bolster and g10 layering. The sheath was hand made and hand stitched in house as well with a ring attached to the belt loop to assure it’s always pointing the tip downwards.
